You have to fish for leech, mollusc, crayfish, etc and half of those things are a one for one return. So if you want to fish with more than one pole, at times you will sit there for hours on end catching nothing at all or just pure junk fish. The problem resides in a lure only or a lure will get you a fish 90% of the time while actual bait gets you 5% of the time. Some species are day, some are night, some are both. Like the other fishing games out there that give certain specific areas of this is only where this fish is, this one has grid squares. You don't have to drink milk or eat snacks or do manual labor. Some people will never be happy, and I think they believe giving a negative review somehow makes them important. Ignore the whiners in steam reviews, most are people who also whine on here.

More new waterways are coming in the future too. It's staggering that this game has been done by just one guy. I've not seen rivers done better in any game and the fish models are spot on too. There are great quests everyday for a certain weight of fish either of any species in the daily, or a specific species, rewards are for XP, cash and bait. You can fish small baits and get instant bites or sit behind bite alarms for something special, and everything in between. It's a very relaxing game where you get the choice to fish many different ways including fly fishing. It's got the best looking waterways in any game and the natural ambience is amazingly well done.
